In Wednesdays first semifinal game, a routine victory assured Patrick Henry of its third straight 20-win season.

“Weve talked before about how special this group is. … It takes a lot of dedication to get there,” said PH coach Tommy Thomas. “Those girls work in the offseason and are just constantly working. They are good at every sport, so that just helps me out.”

The Rebels (20-3) only led 23-21 early in the third quarter, before putting the game away. Holston managed just 18 second-half points.

Cadence Wilmoth tossed in 30 points and pulled down 18 rebounds to lead Patrick Henry, while Jaymee Copenhaver (12 points) and Kasey Uecker (10 points, eight assists, five steals) also keyed the victory.

Seniors Taylor Doss and Morgan Lowe led Holston with 16 and 15 points, respectively.
